What Is Global Access Direct Service?

Global Access Direct (GAD) service is the implementation of our new generation of switching technology. GAD is a direct dial-through service. This means the customer does not have to hang up when placing a long-distance call, giving transparent access to our service
at the best rates.

Customer Instructions

All active Telegroup customers can access GAD - Switzerland by following the steps below:

To access GAD - Switzerland from your registered phone:

Dial the Swiss toll-free number: 0800 840 048
After the tone, enter the destination country code+ area code +
number you want to call.
Press #.
You hear the following message: "Thank you for using Telegroup.
Please hold while I connect your call."

To access from any other touch-tone phone in Switzerland:

Dial the Swiss toll-free number: 0800 840 048.
After the tone, you are prompted to enter your authorization
    code. Enter your 10-digit authorization code followed by the # key.
You hear the following message: "Please enter the country code
    and number you wish to call, followed by the pound key." Dial
    the destination country code + area code + number, followed by
    the # key.
You hear the following message: "Thank you for using Telegroup.
    Please hold while I connect your call."
To make additional calls, don't hang up: press the # key twice to
    obtain a dial tone. If you have trouble making a call:

Be sure your phone is dialing in touch-tones. If not, consult your manual and adjust the dialing mode.
If you still have trouble, be sure to wait until you are prompted for your authorization code after you dial 0800 840 048.

Actual billing time is 30/06. You will be billed for the first 30
seconds and then in increments of 6 seconds.

Touch-tone phone is required.

GAD is available throughout the country.
